As well as being a prolific artist, Madoun was an avid photographer. This compilation of his photographs is comprised of images taken over the years in the ancient city of Damascus, Syria. Damascus is one of the world’s oldest, still inhabited cities.

Most of Madoun’s photos were taken in the 1960’s and 1970’s. This video gallery of Ahmad Madoun’s photographs was compiled by his daughter Lynn Madoun.
